Founded in Pittsburgh in 1895 by Cassel Goorin, the Goorin Bros. brand has endured generations, evolving and adapting to changing trends. Fascinated by hats, Cassel established Goorin, Shapira & Co, which, inherited by his sons Alfred and Ted in 1921, was later renamed Goorin Brothers.
The official partnership with the 8th Winter Olympic Games in 1960 in Squaw Valley, California, was crucial for the company’s growth. Today, Ben Goorin, representing the fourth generation, leads the company, continuing the family legacy and global expansion.
Goorin Bros., as a manufacturer, became famous not only for hats but also for distinctive mesh-back caps (known as truckers) and square patches on the front panel.
