brand description

Gaston Luga is a brand that infuses its actions with an aesthetic touch. Combining form with function, its designs become essential elements of everyday life for anyone who appreciates urban style. Each product, timeless and consciously created, is a response to the needs of the urban environment.

Since the launch of its first limited edition bag, Gaston Luga has gathered an enthusiastic community of collectors around the brand. They are the biggest motivation for the brand to maintain creativity in the process of creating innovative works.

The simplicity of the bags, combined with the mastery of their craftsmanship, is what makes the brand’s approach unique. The creative process at Gaston Luga always begins with the choice of material, with an emphasis on the perfect combination of functionality, durability, and aesthetics, while not disrupting the principles of sustainable development. Thanks to the dynamic development of material sciences, the brand strives to always be one step ahead.

Gaston Luga products are tested for water resistance, abrasion resistance, and color durability in Intertek laboratories, ensuring their longevity. They are also certified by PETA as vegan, which speaks to the brand’s ethical stance.

From day one, Gaston Luga has strived to contribute to a better state of the planet. Through continuous improvement of processes and looking to the future, the brand treats this mission as an ongoing work on itself.

With a focus on ethical production, the brand’s factory has been certified by the Amfori BSCI platform. All materials used by Gaston Luga, as well as transportation methods, are chosen with a view to minimizing climate impact. The brand uses alternatives to animal leather in all its products, and the packaging is made from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy ink.

As a CO2-neutral organization since 2019, Gaston Luga collaborates with Carbon Footprint Ltd to offset its carbon dioxide emissions by supporting the ESCONET network, contributing to a project to rebuild local forests in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya.
